The Mystery of Mystery Babylon

 Understanding the book of Revelation is difficult. A key reason for this difficulty: we need to grasp the historical narrative, and at the same time, we need to comprehend the implications of the present state of global affairs.

In Revelation, chapter eighteen, we learn that a major part of the narrative concerning the revelation of Lord Jesus Christ is the fall of Babylon. Bringing about this fall is the reason the Son of God appeared on Earth. The Epistle of First John tells us that the Son of God appeared on Earth to destroy what the Devil had done. The reason why Jesus was able to destroy the works of the Devil is He did not sin.  Jesus did not sin because He was born of God. That Jesus did not sin, people find difficult to understand, because they themselves live in sin and they are motivated to entertain evil thoughts and perform sinful actions frequently. However, whoever is truly born of God, hates evil and, therefore, refrains from indulging in sin (1 John 5:18).

Importantly, what needs to be understood is the distinction between conception and birth. When Jesus was speaking to Nicodemus (John 3:1-15), He pointed out to the Jewish leader that unless a person understood earthly matters, there was no way a person could understand spiritual matters. Now, Jesus told Nicodemus that, when being born from above, there was a distinction between seeing the Kingdom of God and entering the Kingdom of God, and this was besides that which is flesh. For when coming into this world, humans are conceived in a sac of fluid (water) and then at birth gasp for breath (pneuma:—meaning breath or wind or spirit[i]), this corresponds to being conceived of the flesh and conceived of God. What we can also understand is that being born from above is like being conceived in our mother’s womb, whereas entering the Kingdom of God is similar to a child entering this world. The correlation is there to be understood, if we so desire. If we cannot grasp this, then we are at loss. For when Jesus said that those who continue in His word would know the truth, He did not say this entailed freedom from sin, merely that the person would be set free from ignorance. Unfortunately, many people mistakenly refer to this verse, thinking that freedom from ignorance and freedom from sin are the same thing. This is not the case. Freedom from ignorance means being in the position to exercise one’s freewill because one has a clear knowledge of right and wrong. Freedom from sin is something that Jesus Himself enables. The following informs us of this vital truth:

As he spoke these things, many believed in him. Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

They answered him, “We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, ‘You will be made free’?”

Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin. A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever. If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.”

(John 8:30-36)

In the above text, the “many” are believers who have been born from above, because only those who are born from above can believe in Lord Jesus. However, these people are being told that there is more to being truly saved than just believing, or being born from above, so that they can see the kingdom of God. They must remain (continue) in Jesus’ word. For only then will they know the freedom that comes with the washing of the water of the word through the process of regeneration (Titus 3:5). This is the equivalent of a person’s spirit receiving the word of life—which correlates to the ovum of a human receiving the spermatozoon that gives the life to what is otherwise a dead egg within the woman. But when the child is born; it still has to breathe, if it is to live; otherwise, it is stillborn. To ensure that a child is not stillborn, the birth of a child is often accompanied with a little smack on the bottom, which causes the child to cry out and activate its lungs by beginning to breathe. Believe it or not, this correlates to receiving the joy of eternal salvation and entering into the Kingdom of God.

The child conceived is not yet born. Likewise, the spirit of the person impregnated with the word of God has yet to enter the Kingdom of God and be set free for eternity. Many people cannot comprehend this. They are born from above, in that they have received the word of life, but they are not set free and find themselves still struggling with sin. These people are members of the Body of Christ by virtue of their confession that they believe in the Son of God; however, they have not attained to the place where the Son of God has set them free—within—from sin for eternity.

The book of Hebrews tells us how this occurs. The writer of Hebrews also informs us of our own responsibility when it comes to making every effort to enter this freedom from sin that God has for us; so that we can be free from the struggle against sin. Similarly, this is the distinction between heading towards (even being at the foot of) the cross and being baptized into in Jesus’ death (Romans 6:1-4).

Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account.

(Hebrews 4:11-13)

Unfortunately, too many people make a doctrine based on verse twelve (the second sentence in the above quotation) claiming the Bible to be the Living Word of God and neglect the context and the truth of what this text is really saying. For what we are being told here is not that we are saved by reading the Bible or memorizing it, but that we have to strive to enter the Kingdom of God and secure our salvation. But this is not saying that we are saved by works. Rather our salvation occurs when Jesus sees our heart is genuine, and we are not merely giving lip service to His name, while attending church meetings or religious gatherings, and making out we are Christians “doing church”.  Eternal rest incorporates freedom from sin and salvation from death. Only when the Son of God ratifies our freedom from sin is our salvation sealed. Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God, who searches the hearts of us all to analyze our intentions. Nobody can hide from Him. This is why we read in the quotation from the gospel of John that whosoever the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).

The Passover was about entering into the protection of God and seeking the Messiah. The nation of Israel could not receive the Holy Spirit when the people came out of Egypt because the baptism was yet to be given. The Holy Spirit was given at Pentecost. The Passover, therefore, was a type of what was to come, and expressed what it meant to receive the word of regeneration and be born from above. The individual was required to look to God. Even though the Spirit of God was at work in each one who looked to the Heavenly Father, each had to work out his own salvation. Nothing has changed. We all have to work out our own salvation. But working out our salvation is different to working for our salvation. The distinction needs to be understood—working for salvation is self-righteousness, whereas working out our salvation is reasoning with God (Isaiah 1:18-20). Nevertheless, at this juncture, the main point that needs to be understood is the Passover and working out our salvation is part of the early rain experience, and not the latter rain. The latter rain is where we find the atonement is made on behalf of everyone and salvation is completed. Nevertheless, what Jesus did on the cross, nailing our sin down once for all, enables us to walk free in the mercies of God. As far as completing the purpose of God was concerned, this still had to be accomplished with the people who were yet to be born. The number of people that had been predetermined to be part of the New Creation for the Church Age would be the determining factor as to when the feasts of the latter rain would begin. Once that number had been reached and it was clear to our Heavenly Father that the male-child that is typed in the latter rain feasts would come forth, then the Feast of Trumpets would be announced to the world. The Church will be ready to bring forth the male-child.

The male-child to whom the woman with the crowns on her head gives birth in the book of Revelation, chapter twelve, consists of those who are truly born of God. This is why we see the child taken straight to Heaven. This child is not Jesus being born of the Virgin Mary and neither is it the Church being born out of Israel. We know this because both those events were not among those yet to come, for they had already passed. Jesus was born around 2 BC and the Church was born in 31 AD. This vision is believed to have been given to the Apostle John sometime around the year 90 AD, or as late as 100 AD. Those who argue for an earlier date for the writing of the book of Revelation, do so, because they need to manipulate dates to fit their theory that the male-child is actually Jesus or the church and, therefore, they need to create doubt about what the Bible actually states. The Bible states that this is to come after the time that the prophecy—which we know as the book of Revelation—was given to the Apostle John.

The book of Revelation begins by stating very clearly that the theme is “the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His servants the things which must happen soon" (Revelation 1:1). There is no indication whatsoever that anything in the book of Revelation occurred before the time that the Apostle John received this, when on the isle of Patmos (95-96 AD). Anyone who transfers anything from this book to a prior time, automatically disqualifies himself as someone who can interpret this book correctly; therefore, those persons can be dismissed as being from God. Unfortunately, there are many who deceive people by their claims; also, many have itching ears for anything except the truth. The Devil knows who they are, because he has blinded them from seeing the truth.

The truth only comes when people repent from their dead works because they hate evil and begin to exercise faith towards God, as per the feast of the Passover. Then they need to arrive at Pentecost in their Christian experience, having fulfilled the spiritual equivalent of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, before they can progress towards experiencing the significance of the latter rain feasts in their lives. We are not talking about ritualistic acts of religiosity. Rather this is about experiential religion: a personal quest where the ideal of eternal life is being sought and secured.

What we need to understand is the reason the Son of God came to Earth. We need to understand also the reason Babylon is mentioned as fallen in the book of Revelation.

Jesus came to destroy the works of the Evil One. The reason for Jesus’ appearance on Earth, and His crucifixion to pay for the sin of Adam and his descendants, needs to be understood. Unfortunately, because of erroneous teaching in respect to this vital truth, too many people fail to grasp the reason the Son of God came to Earth and thereby fail to experience what God has for them. The Devil delights in the fact that they do not know Lord Jesus Christ personally and, because of this, become caught up in manmade doctrines and philosophy, which are not in accordance to the law and the prophets. The Apostle Paul wrote:

Be careful that you don’t let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ. For in him all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily, and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power; in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross; having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (Colossians 2:8-15) 

God could have wiped out Adam and Eve, created a new man and woman in their place, and thrown those two sinners, along with Satan, into eternal punishment. However, if God had done this, righteousness would not have been upheld, because justice would not have been executed. Justice requires everyone to be recompensed or requited for each one’s actions.

When Adam and Eve were created, God did not expect sin to enter the Universe. We read in the first chapter of Genesis that everything that God created was good. Evil did not exist. However, since God had made the man (consisting of Adam and Eve) in His own image, the two individuals had to be given freewill and this required that they possess the ability to exercise it. Freewill cannot be exercised if there are no choices to make. The Garden of Eden had two trees placed within its borders. The fruit of one tree could be eaten; but to eat the fruit from the other tree was prohibited. We are told that Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s voice. They were then driven out of the Garden, lest they ate from the tree of life and lived forever; after having sinned by breaking faith with their Creator.

Adam and Eve, of themselves, were not tempted to disobey God. They were satisfied with what they had. Adam and Eve were told that they could procreate and fill the Earth. For “God said to them, ‘Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it”’ (Genesis 1:28). Naturally, Eve would eventually bring forth a male child for the Son of God to enter, if this were part of the original plan. We are not told that this is the case. Although, this is inferred by Jesus’ statement that He is Lord of the Sabbath and the Son of Man. The original plan was compromised because of what Satan did, who is also known as the Devil and the Ancient Serpent. The following Scriptures explain to us the truth of how sin came about and what God is doing to rectify matters:

He said to them, “I saw Satan having fallen like lightning from heaven.” (Luke 10:18)

 

You were the anointed cherub who covers: and I set you, so that you were on the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the middle of the stones of fire.  You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you. (Ezekiel 28:14-15)

 

You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and its father. (John 8:44)

 

Yahweh God said to the woman, “What have you done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”  Yahweh God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed above all livestock, and above every animal of the field. You shall go on your belly and you shall eat dust all the days of your life. I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.” (Genesis 3:13-15)

 

He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever is born of God doesn’t commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can’t sin, because he is born of God. (1 John 3:8-9)

 

I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake. (1 John 2:12)

 

To demonstrate his righteousness at this present time; that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus. (Romans 3:26)

 

For the creation was subjected to vanity, not of its own will, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the liberty of the glory of the [sons] of God. (Romans 8:20-21)

The Bible is written in such a way that the truths are a little here and a little there. What those twelve verses of Scripture tell us is not something that you will necessarily learn by reading a concordance and seeking to do a word study. There are only eight passages of Scripture but twelve verses. In the original languages the verses are nonexistent. The verses are only an aid, but often they can be a stumbling block for people who circumvent truth and bypass being taught by the Holy Spirit. Unless the Holy Spirit quickens truth in our heart and mind, we will forget the truth of God’s Word very quickly. Only when we continue in the Word of God and diligently seek the truth, shall we find it remaining within our heart to be recalled by our mind.

What those twelve verses tell us is iniquity did not exist until found in the cherub that was given the responsibility to oversee his charge in the mountain of God (Hebrews 12:22). Satan left his position of authority and introduced sin and death into the world through the deception of Eve. However, God will rectify what Satan has done and bring justice to bear through the woman. In doing this, God will demonstrate His righteousness for His own sake; then the Creation will no longer be subjected to the futility of sin and death. God will be glorified as the righteous judge of Creation, when sin is fully dealt with.

You might not see what has been explained above in those twelve verses, but if you read them with the understanding of the Holy Spirit, you will see this is what God is doing. Sin originated with the Devil (the guardian cherub). Sin did not originate with the Lord God. Our Heavenly Father is going to eradicate sin, so that whoever is born of Him can cease from sinning. Whoever ceases from sinning has entered God’s eternal rest and belongs to the Church. Whoever belongs to the male-child, that is birthed by the Church, has overcome sin and celebrates for seven years on Earth the Feast of Tabernacles, which was given to Moses as a type of being completely encompassed and possessed by the Spirit of God

And a great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; she was with child and she cried out in her pangs of birth, in anguish for delivery. And another portent appeared in heaven; behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems upon his heads. His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bear a child, that he might devour her child when she brought it forth; she brought forth a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne, and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which to be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days. (Revelation 12:1-6)

The dragon comes down to Earth just before the woman gives birth to the male-child. This occurs on the Day of Atonement. Four years later the Sons of God are manifest and the woman is protected for three-and-a-half years.  The Sons of God cannot be touched by the Devil. They are holy. The Devil can only touch those who have not been cleansed from sin. This is why when we have fellowship with one another by walking in the light, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin, and the Devil cannot touch us. Only if we sin can the Devil touch us. This is illustrated in the life of Job.

Job lived under the protection of God. He had repented from the sins of his youth, even though he had only heard of God. Nevertheless, Job’s heart was not sufficiently pure that he could see our Lord God (Job 1:10; 13:26; Ps. 25:7; Job 42:4-6; Matt. 5:8). When we read about Job’s experience we learn, rather amazingly, that it is possible to be protected by God, if we repent and exercise faith towards our Heavenly Father by continuing in His word of truth; but it is only when we are truly set free that we will see the Lord of Life and be given a double portion of God’s blessing, while still being encompassed by His protection. The double portion is the difference between the early rain and the latter rain. Those who are part of the Church that gives birth to the male-child are protected, just as Job was, before his eyes were opened, so that he could see the Son of God, literally.

The male-child is actually able to see the Son of God. Though this may seem like fantasy, the male-child is a symbolic representation of those who are walking in the Spirit of God, having been fully cleansed from sin and given a song that no one other than they themselves could learn (Revelation 14:3). When we read that the male-child is caught up to Heaven, we are being informed that the select individuals, represented by this child, have overcome the world. These are the 144,000, who have overcome the world and are to rule the nations with Lord Jesus Christ. This is the promise that is given to the overcomers who belong to the Church of Laodicea. This promise is not given to any of the other churches. These are the promises given to the Churches: 

The Church of Ephesus

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God.

(Revelation. 2:7) 

The Church of Smyrna

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes won’t be harmed by the second death. (Revelation 2:11)

The Church of Pergamum

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it. (Revelation 2:17)

The Church of Thyatira

He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations. (Revelation 2:26)

The Church of Sardis

He who overcomes will be arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. (Revelation 3:5)

The Church of Philadelphia

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out from there no more. I will write on him

the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name. (Revelation 3:12)

The Church of Laodicea

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me. He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne. (Rev 3:20-21)

Those who overcome in the Church of Thyatira are given authority over nations, but not the right to sit down with Lord Jesus Christ and on His throne. This right is given to those who overcome from the Church of Laodicea. These individuals overcome just as Lord Jesus overcame, because it is no longer they that live, but Christ who lives in them. The Apostle Paul claimed that it was no longer he that lived but Christ in him, yet he still sought to attain to the resurrection of the dead, if possible. 

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me. (Galatians 2:20)

 

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death; if by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect; but I press on, if it is so that I may take hold of that for which also I was taken hold of by Christ Jesus.

(Philippians 3:10-12)

The Apostle Paul was born into the era of the early rain. This is the first portion era of the Passover and not the latter rain portion of the Atonement and Tabernacles where perfection is attained. This is not to say that as an individual Paul could not attain to the resurrection of the dead, rather that the conditions in respect to the overall plan of God, for His eternal purpose to be fully realized, were not to occur in that era.  Enoch walked with God and He attained the resurrection of the dead (Genesis 5.24). Moses and Elijah appeared on the Mount of Transfiguration indicating they had attained the resurrection of the dead (Luke 9:29-31). Individually, it is possible for anyone to do what Enoch, Moses and Elijah did; but only at the end of the Church era, will there be those who overcome as Jesus overcame; because He will cause this to happen by the Holy Spirit. Those who are of the Church will be the bride, but those who are of the male-child will be given the authority to rule with Lord Jesus Christ.  In the book of Hebrews we read:

For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers, saying, “I will declare your name to my brothers. Among the congregation I will sing your praise.” (Hebrews 2:10-12) 

As has been stressed, we need to understand the difference between the Passover and the Atonement. The Passover was effective and points to how we are saved by faith in Lord Jesus Christ; through accepting that He died for us and gave us all an inheritance to take up, if we so desire. Here we learn that Jesus is the door:

“Most certainly, I tell you, one who doesn’t enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But one who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him; for they don’t know the voice of strangers.” Jesus spoke this parable to them, but they didn’t understand what he was telling them. Jesus therefore said to them again, “Most certainly, I tell you, I am the sheep’s door. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn’t listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture. The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. (John 10:1-10) 

At the Feast of Passover, each household had to anoint the door to their house with blood on the sides and at the top before they went inside to partake of the Lamb of God. This represented fellowshipping with one another as the lamp was lit (Matthew 5:14-15) and being cleansed by the blood as each walked into their dwelling (1 John 1:7) that was covered from the destroyer, the angel of death.

Your lamb shall be without defect, a male a year old. You shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats: and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at evening. They shall take some of the blood, and put it on the two door posts and on the lintel, on the houses in which they shall eat it. They shall eat the flesh in that night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread. They shall eat it with bitter herbs. Don’t eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted with fire; with its head, its legs and its inner parts. You shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remains of it until the morning you shall burn with fire. This is how you shall eat it: with your belt on your waist, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste: it is Yahweh’s Passover. For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and animal. Against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am Yahweh. The blood shall be to you for a token on the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be on you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.

(Exodus 12:5-13).

The Passover experience is about coming to accept the sacrifice of the Lamb of God for our sin and pressing-on in our journey towards perfection, as we have fellowship in the light and are cleansed by the blood of Lord Jesus Christ (1 John 1:7). From the Passover experience, we enter into the Feast of Unleavened Bread, where we learn the discipline of separation from the world before pressing-on to the days of the Feast of Pentecost, where we are empowered by the Baptism of Holy Spirit. This is the way of the Lord. Those who refuse to go on—and there are many—find themselves playing around at the beginning of the journey, criticizing those who push towards the goal. In the book of Philippians, the Apostle Paul writes:

So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputes, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world. (Philippians 2:12-15)

We can see here what should happen, but the antithesis is what really happens among the people who claim they are Christians. Instead of each one walking in the light and working out each one’s own salvation, while having fellowship with one another, so the blood of Jesus can continually cleanse and protect participants from the accuser, Christians murmur and dispute among themselves. The crooked and perverse generation of the world enters into the churches; consequently, instead of being lights, too many people are seen standing at the door of salvation arguing over doctrine and what they think they know, rather than experiencing what God has for them. There are even those who arrive at the Pentecostal experience and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, who do not continue in the house of salvation but go back into the world, not realizing they have to work out the way of their salvation, if they are to become lights in the world. Consequently, those in the world blaspheme the name of God because people, who claim they know Lord Jesus Christ, demonstrate that they are really pretenders and not true contenders for the promises that are rightfully theirs. The Devil laughs; for he is able to steal the blessings of the pretenders. Because of the sins of those who claim they believe in the power of God to cleanse them, but do not act upon their claims, the Devil still has access to the Throne of God.

The Day of Atonement signifies that Lord Jesus Christ does what people cannot do themselves. Experientially, this occurs when Lord Jesus Christ enters the individual and enables the person to overcome sin, just as He overcame sin. The Passover is about being washed clean from sin as each one expresses faith in the death and resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ. The Atonement is about Lord Jesus Christ being invited into people’s lives so that they sin no more, because sin is finally dealt with. The life that these individuals live from this time forth is the life of the resurrected Christ. There is no requirement for any person other than to allow the high priest to do what is necessary to effect this state of righteousness. Since Lord Jesus has become our high priest, He presents Himself as the perfect offering. Sin is removed forever. As individuals, this can happen to us, if we are prepared to walk the walk; rather than merely talking, and producing nothing more than talk. For the Bride, the completion of the covering from sin happens at the resurrection. For the male-child this manifests on the Day of the Atonement. The year that this begins to occur will be the tenth year after the Feast of Trumpets on the Christian Calendar. The birth of the male-child will take place over a four year period, for at the beginning of the fourteenth year, the male-child shall begin to demonstrate the light of God on Earth. The Devil will go to make war on all who acknowledge Lord Jesus Christ and seek to keep His commandments by believing in Him. These are those who believe in the name of Lord Jesus Christ.

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:1-5)

 

Whoever denies the Son, the same doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also. Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father. This is the promise which he promised us, the eternal life.  These things I have written to you concerning those who would lead you astray. (1 John 2:23-26)

This is not to say that we have different classes of Christians; rather that many who say they are Christians are led astray, and instead of pressing-on to make Christ their own, they get caught up in teachings that are not beneficial for them; so they fail to reap the blessings of God unto eternity. For many will be saved who have nothing for eternity. The Apostle Paul warns us all:

For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it. For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ. But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble; each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is. If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire. (1 Cor. 3:9-15) 

We see four different outcomes in the above six types of efforts made by individuals, who are saved because they believe in the Son of God. Only three builders have anything worthy of recognition. The other three have the same result. When the Devil comes to make war upon those who say that they believe in the Son of God, it will not be those who are represented by the gold. These are the ones who have faith; they will be in the Bride. The silver represents those who learn about God, and these are the ones, who hear the word of truth and put their trust in what the Bible states.  The precious stones in our scenario are the ones who hear the word of truth and hold fast to their belief in the son of God, doing their best to honor Him in their lives. The rest are the many who believe but have double standards. Therefore they will receive nothing from the Lord in eternity. They will have to make a decision to receive the mark of the beast or lose their hope of salvation. The book of James has this to say about these individuals:

But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. (James 1:6-8)

The state of affairs during the days of Jacob’s Trouble are what corresponds to the feasts of the latter rain. There is the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles. There will be those from among the brethren who seek to cheat the faithful and those who hate them. Those who hate the faithful are the unstable ones who will have to make up their minds whether to receive the mark or not. Those who seek to cheat the faithful will also have to make a choice whether they will prefer mammon to God.

On the Day of Atonement, the declaration will be that Babylon has fallen. The Devil no longer has access to Heaven. War will take place in Heaven and the Evil One will be cast out. No longer will he be able to accuse the brethren, so he will have no access to Heaven and will come to Earth to make war on the brethren and those who look to God. There is going to be much upheaval during this time. The agents of the Devil will cause difficult times for those who claim to be Christians. The saints will share the word of the truth and people will have to make the decision to take the mark of the beast or face exclusion from the benefits of the world system. Those who receive the mark will be able to receive the benefits that are given by the governments of the world, such as a living wage so they can buy food and pay for their basic needs. Those who reject the mark will have to survive outside the world system.

When we come to the book of Revelation and find Babylon once more a prominent feature within the text, the initial response can be bewilderment. What has Babylon to do with the Christian era?  Much of what we have been discussing has to do with what God had given to Moses. Now we learn that Babylon, conquered by the Medes and Persians, has been around for thousands of years. In fact, we learn of not just Babylon but “Mystery Babylon”. Many translate the Greek as “Babylon is a mystery” rather than call it Mystery Babylon. The meaning is the same. The mystery of Babylon is the key to understanding what is going on in the world. Many, however, are attributing more to this mystery than appears warranted because of the inordinate desire of people for sensationalism and salacious details. This is largely promoted because Jesus said that in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man (Luke 17:26). However, what is not going to happen is the Earth being inundated by floodwaters; nor are the sons of God going to be copulating with women and producing hybrid offspring; although laboratory created transhumans (mechanized humans with artificial intelligence) and human-animal hybrids could become common.

In the book of Revelation, we come across a reference once more to the kings and kingdoms that are to exist, which are invariably interpreted according in the light of the statue mentioned in Daniel chapter two. Most interpretations see this pointing to Rome and the Roman Catholic Church, in particular, and claim that the ten kings mentioned here are the supposed ten toes of the statue mentioned by Daniel—except the ten toes are not mentioned and the statue could have had twelve toes. If anyone thinks that the conjecture of the stature having twelve toes is impossible or is ridiculous—because the number of toes is not mentioned—then consider what is written in the book of Second Samuel:

There was again war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature, who had six fingers on every hand, and six toes on every foot, twenty four in number; and he also was born to the giant (2 Samuel 21:20).

Dr Mervyn Wijesinha holds doctorates in law and science. He has an impressive curriculum vitae and, among other appointments, was one of the Secretary Generals at UNESCO.  Naturally many think with qualifications like that he must be an authority. He writes:

At the time of John five of the kingdoms had fallen. One must bear in mind that these are kingdoms that are postulated in the Bible and refer to those kingdoms revealed in the Book of Daniel by God Himself. This is continuation of Bible prophecy and must be interpreted in the context of that prophecy: The five kingdoms fallen at the time of John were: Assyria, Babylon, Egypt, Medo – Persia Greece, One is- i.e. Rome that was in existence during John’s time. The one to come = The Antichrist supported by the 10 kingdoms under the New World Order. We have the further qualification that he must continue for a short space— refers to the short space of the tribulation-7 years — that he would rule.

"And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition."[ii]

Dissenting views note that the Roman Catholic Church does not meet the requirements of the description of Mystery Babylon because it is not a trading nation like the United States of America or a city such as New York, to which many think this refers:

Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits. They are seven kings. Five have fallen, the one is, the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a little while. The beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goes to destruction. The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings, with the beast, for one hour. These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast. (Revelation 17:11-13)

Apart from the fact that two legs of the statue present problems for those claiming the statue of Daniel chapter two is presented here and the ten toes really need to have five nations for both legs, people still promote this obvious false interpretation. They say that the two legs become the kingdom of Rome that was split into the East and West branches and, yet somehow, the ten toes become ten kings in Europe, rather than five in the East and five in the West. Those who recognize the anomalies in this interpretation of a resurrected Roman Empire begin to realize what is being referenced in this chapter has to be something else.

Mecca is also being pinpointed as Mystery Babylon. This is because Mecca is surrounded by seven mountains. The Kaaba, is a relic of the Babylonian Semiramis, the moon goddess, as is all mother and child worship. Mother and child worship originated in Babylon and pervaded the world. In Egypt, the mother and child were worshiped as Isis and Horus; in China, Tibet and Japan as the mother goddess Shing-moo with child; in Greece as Ceres or Irene and Plutus; in Rome as Fortuna and Jupitor-puer, or Venus and Adurnis; in Scandinavia as Frigga and Balder; and in Phoenicia, as Ashtoreth and Baal. The mother is also worshipped as the “queen of heaven”. In India, the mother and child were called Devaki and Krishna; also Isi and Iswara, as they are worshiped to this day.[iii] In Asia, they were known as Cybele and Deoius. Ishtar and Tammuz are other names for the mother and child Babylonian goddess and son.[iv]

There are good reasons that suggest Mecca is meant rather than Rome as the city of seven mountains. Islam still beheads people. Islam denies the Son of God, which is evidence of it being antichrist (1 John 2:22-23). Once the oil stops, if Iran nukes Saudi Arabia, smoke will rise from the fires of oil burning. The shipping companies made rich from oil tankers will go broke and nobody will be buy merchandise from the merchants who use ships (Revelation 18:11-19).  However, this theory falls down because proponents claim the wine that makes the nations drunk with her sexual immorality (Revelation 18:3) is the oil that Saudi Arabia produces.  Another disqualifying point is even though Islam denies Jesus is the Son of God, Muslims believe he is the Christ (Messiah) who is to come at the end of the age.

Unless we have the truth revealed to us by the Holy Spirit, we will miss what God is really saying. As much as possible, Scripture must be interpreting Scripture. The only times we leave Scripture is to find corroborating evidence to support the truths of the Bible; not to build a case for our beliefs and interpretation of what we think the truth might be. 

Every author I have read, attempting to interpret this prophecy, overlooks God forsook Israel because it was rebellious. The Israel that was created as a nation to be a witness among other nations fell because it refused to do as God required. This does not mean that individual members were not responsive to the word of God and were not saved, for we know that many individuals were saved; but as a corporate body of people overall, distinct to the other nations, Israel went the way of the Devil. Babylonian influences corrupted its leaders and we learn they worshipped the Queen of Heaven (Jeremiah 7:18), her son Tammuz, and were involved in occult mysteries.

Then he said to me, Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? for they say, Yahweh doesn’t see us; Yahweh has forsaken the land. He said also to me, You shall again see yet other great abominations which they do. Then he brought me to the door of the gate of Yahweh’s house which was toward the north; and see, there sat the women weeping for Tammuz. Then he said to me, Have you seen this, son of man? You shall again see yet greater abominations than these. He brought me into the inner court of Yahweh’s house; and see, at the door of Yahweh’s temple, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men, with their backs toward Yahweh’s temple, and their faces toward the east; and they were worshiping the sun toward the east. (Ezekiel 8:12-16)

The Evil One ruled over the House of Judah. Ultimately, the people of Judah said that they would rather the blood of Jesus be on their heads than accept Him as their Messiah (Matthew 27:25).

One of the difficulties in understanding this prophecy of Revelation has to do with indentifying the kingdoms. When we realize the five kingdoms that have fallen are 1) Babylon, 2) Medes/Persia, 3) Macedonia/Greece (culture), 4) the Ptolemy/Seleucid kingdoms united by marriage and 5) Israel, the nation that refused to do what God required, we have our five kingdoms (no Assyria[v]) that are represented by the statue of which King Nebuchadnezzar dreamed. These five kingdoms had already been by the time this vision was given to the Apostle John. Jerusalem had fallen in AD 70. This prophecy is generally thought to have been given to John around twenty-five years later, sometime around the years AD 95-96—but since Jesus said that he would raise the temple and rebuild it in three days (Matthew 27:40), Israel could be interpreted to have finished in AD 31, even if it was not physically destroyed until AD 70. Whatever date is attributed to the destruction of Israel, the kingdom that was current had to be the kingdom of Rome, which includes the Roman Catholic Church. The seventh kingdom is Islam. The eighth kingdom comes out of Islam (or Islam and Rome, as it belongs to the seven). The ten kings are the regions represented in the Universal Product Code (UPC) that is on every barcode imprinted on the packaging of all manufactured produce, which Dr Mervyn Wijesinha, the man from UNESCO, appears to allude. The beast comes out of the seven kingdoms for he is part of all of the kingdoms, because the beast rules Mystery Babylon. The beast is the god of this world.

The mystery of Babylon concerns the attempts of the god of this world to elevate men and influence them towards self-government. Humanism is the result of this mysterious influence. Humanism goes back to the days of Babel that preceded Babylon, which only goes back to Nebuchadnezzar’s days. The statue that Nebuchadnezzar dreamed about had his kingdom represented by the head. As we have detailed, the relevance of the statue is its representation of how mankind fell from having a righteous relationship with God based on faith and the need for Lord Jesus Christ, the Second Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45) to reconcile mankind to God (Romans 5:6-10).

The god of this world uses force to enslave his victims, if he cannot entrap them with wealth or lusts of the flesh or the deceit of conceit. What is important for us to understand is Jesus identified mammon as the god of this world, when he contrasted material wealth and the needs of one’s body with devoting oneself to God (Matthew 6:24-25). However, Jesus also made some very important points about unrighteous mammon and pointed to how mammon is not unrighteous of itself but the attitude of the heart is what makes it unrighteous.

I tell you, make for yourselves friends by means of unrighteous mammon, so that when you fail, they may receive you into the eternal tents. He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? If you have not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. You aren’t able to serve God and Mammon.”

The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they scoffed at him. He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.” (Luke 16:9-15)

The Babylonian spirit is what makes mammon unrighteous. Lovers of money and the exaltation of humans to supplant God as Creator is really what is happening here. Historically, certain men have exalted themselves to being the ruler and owner of all possessions; then to being worshiped and supported by a cabal of confederates. This has been evidenced in many cultures. When Jesus was on Earth, Caesar was to be worshiped as divine[vi] (Mark 12:16-17). In the modern world, even though publicly this was supposed to have been renounced at the end of World War II, the king of Japan retains his divinity.[vii] The Pope being exalted to the Vicar of Christ on Earth and purportedly invested with the power to canonize saints in Heaven is evidence of human exaltation. Humanism is the western world’s exaltation of human beings and atheism is the god of secularism—gods are conceptual entities (household gods, Buddha, etc), and the no-god of atheism is a concept that replaces the truth about the Living Creator God of Eternity.

Nero’s advisor, Seneca, advised him to commit suicide. Seneca also once said, “Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.” What this does is distinguish the difference between the rulers and the wise in a way people today do not understand. The rulers of this world are actually worshipers of the god of this world and see religion as a useful means for not only manipulating people, but also as a means of getting what they want. Lucifer is the god of this world and those who worship mammon devote their lives to him by default, unless they are enlightened to who is really their master—in which case, they devote their lives to him by design. The division between those who see religion as false and those who are religious devotees, suits the rulers, because they can manipulate the division through distraction and diverting the focus onto the other group and away from themselves.

Islam is being cultivated as a means by which the rulers of this world are going to take control. This is no more obvious than in the Gülen movement as it creates a network of madrasses around the world in which to train children in Islam. Saudi Arabia is sponsoring the building of mosques around the world. Islam also has two mosques on the Jewish holy site. In fact, Islam is being exported into western countries under the guise of sponsoring asylum seekers, refugee programs, and providing employees to meet the labor demands for lowly skilled jobs. An open border policy is being promoted worldwide to accommodate Islam; even if there is resistance from those who are culturally opposed to Islam and threatened by Muslim immigration.

The aim for Islamic migration is twofold. One is to sponsor the spread of Islam and have a one-world religion. The second is to cause Jews to flee to Israel because they fear being attacked by Muslims. Islamic preachers are very antagonistic towards Jews and regularly preach against them, quoting the Koran and Hadiths that speak of their extinction. This is being permitted by God, fomented by the Devil, and promoted by the rulers of the current age; in particular, the Zionist bankers who seek to rule the world—especially one family which is responsible for the re-establishing of Israel and instrumental in initiating the sustainability aims of the United Nations.

The irony is many, who reject the Bible, recognize what is taking place in world affairs and are pinpointing the Rothschild family as the ones who are in control. On the other hand, there are many who acknowledge the Bible and they are very supportive of the Rothschilds’ vision for Israel to be established, because they see this as being God’s plan. There are also those who recognize that the synagogue of Satan consists of the ones who are really creating this nation Israel and they are not true Jews. Not all, who recognize the synagogue of Satan accept that God, being in control, has predicted the return of Israel, because they believe true Israel consists of the people of God; therefore, a physical Israel is of no consequence. That God is going to resurrect true Israel and save the physical nation of Israel to fulfill his promise to Abraham is overlooked by them. So too is this statement by Jesus:

Behold, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me from now on, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!' (Matthew 23:38)

Lord Jesus Christ will return and be accepted as the Messiah after the seven plagues (Revelations 15:1-8) that are to fall upon the world once the false messiah has been revealed and takes his place in the temple and proclaims himself God. Evidence points to this being a Rothschild, but there are those who think not. Many think the Antichrist will be Prince William, when he assumes the British Throne; others think his son Prince George might be Rosemary’s baby.[viii] Some even think he will be a transhuman in the form of Zeus. Many Protestants and even Pentecostals are locked into the idea the Roman Catholic Pope is the Antichrist.

Those who hold to the view that the Pope is the Antichrist fall into two schools. One school believes every subsequent Pope is the Antichrist. This school of thought points to the office of the Pope as that of the Antichrist. The other school believes that the last Pope will be the Antichrist and he will take his seat upon the Temple of God in Jerusalem. But there are good reasons for dismissing these views. Particularly in the light of what has been given consideration so far. For the views that are contrary to what has been revealed in this book hang on to the premise that Rome today is the fourth kingdom represented by the statue that Nebuchadnezzar dreamed about and which they claim has ten toes (even though there is no such reference to the number of toes in Daniel and the statue could have twelve toes) represent ten nations in Europe. Although there may be some who are making adaptations to their views now that the European Union and subsequent events have contradicted everyone who pointed to this as the Roman Empire being reinstated. If investigator Eustace Mullins is right, the Pope has been dependent upon the Rothschilds since they took over financial operations of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church in 1823.

People are unaware that the Sauds, who reign in Saudi Arabia, were established by the Rothschilds. This is largely because the Rothschilds operate behind the scenes, having learned that this was more effective than publicly being the ones conspicuously pulling the strings. The Rothschilds were involved with the British Empire’s expansion of influence. They realized that by creating alliances that they could create illusions that worked in their favor, as people focused their attention on their confederates or front men. This plan works based on one critical factor: people, who are ambitious, who long for status and wealth, are vulnerable to being exploited—and, if need be, discredited. Once the Rothschild family controlled the wealth of Europe and America, the rest of the world was groveling at their feet. Consequently, the House of Saud sought the British to help them for some ten years, before assistance was provided to elevate this now grateful family of ambitious rulers, who were possibly looking at being obliterated as a tribe from what is today known as Saudi Arabia.[x]

Many claim that this idea that the West is sponsoring Islam is pure conspiracy. Yet former FBI Turkish interpreter, Sibel Edmonds questions how it is possible for Fethullah Gülen, a broke preacher, to build in four years a network of three hundred and fifty mosques and madrasses in central Asia worth twenty billion dollars ($20,000,000,000). Moreover, in order to teach the students in the madrasses, teachers of English are sent around the world on diplomatic passports—which are inappropriate for a commercial enterprise. Diplomatic passports are issued only for employees on government business.[xi]

Mammon is the god of this world. Those who worship mammon do so because they crave what it brings. Mammon enslaves people to corruption. The love of mammon is the source of all corruption. What we find is that those who hold the reins of the world’s central banks, control the money. By selectively identifying those who will sell their souls and compromise values for the sake of position, power and mammon, those in control use them to implement their evil schemes. In world affairs, this is nothing new. The Evil One influences all who are sons of disobedience and who are willing to submit their will to overlords for fortunes to be made. Evidence of this corruption is none more evident than in Al Gore’s quick rise to wealth (after losing the election to President Bush) and his association with David de Rothschild in promoting Climate Change. The Clintons, too, have enjoyed a close association with Lynn Forrester de Rothschild and husband Evelyn de Rothschild, who honeymooned at the White House during the Clinton Presidency. Without suggesting any impropriety on behalf of the Rothschild’s, what is startling, having left the White House broke, Bill and Hillary Clinton have amassed two hundred million dollars and have  funneled billions of dollars through their foundation. When Hillary Clinton attempted to return to the White House in 2016, Reuters and Associated Press saw to it that truth was suppressed concerning any wicked deeds[xii] and her health—in respect to this, the Rothschild influence cannot be ignored. After all, Lynn De Rothschild was supportive of Hillary Clinton and actively raised funds for her election campaign.[xiii]

The synagogue of Satan consists of people who say they are Jews but are not. These people came to prominence during the Philadelphian Church era. The stage was not yet ready for the Lord God to let the synagogue of Satan show its final hand. The number of people destined to be saved had not been reached. When the number of people destined for eternal life has been reached, the male-child will have been revealed and then the hand of Satan will manifest as the beast. The attempts by those who worship the god of this world to gain the ascendancy over the people of the Earth have been many, but with every failure, a stronger grip over the nations results. The more nations that become indebted to the global banking system, the deeper the system’s roots are able to infiltrate each nation’s governmental infrastructure and create unwitting enslavement at the local level. Many of the municipalities within the United States of America are on the verge of bankruptcy and struggling to survive.  Fifteen years (2016) after the 9/11 tragedy in 2001, the USA had spent five trillion dollars on the war on terror,[xiv] since it was declared as a consequence of the World Trade center buildings being destroyed and the Pentagon explosion on the same day.

At the time of writing the USA federal government has some forty trillion dollars debt, but since the US dollar is the underlying currency that forms the standard by which all the other the currencies of the world are valued, it cannot be bankrupted unless another currency replaces it. Until that time, unaccounted trillions of dollars will have been allocated to the black budget projects of the military and intelligence agencies—as at December 2017, according to US former Assistant Housing Secretary, Catherine Austin Fitts, the Pentagon is responsible for twenty-one trillion dollars of missing money and there are indications that many more unofficial trillions of dollars are going to surface, as having been allocated as part of a hidden budget assigned to the US military-industrial complex.[xv]

In January 1988, the Rothschild’s Economist predicted that by 2018 a global currency “the Phoenix” would become the preferred currency in the First World Countries and many of the countries emerging from the ex-communist and third world nations.[xvi] To introduce a new currency, the pretext would have to be that every nation would benefit by using the currency. This can only happen if this will obviously facilitate global trade or prevent a war. Crashing the US dollar will bring conditions for the introduction of a global currency, but a new standard will be required. Rather than gold, the currency of last resort already being used to prop up financial dealings between nations is the International Monetary Fund’s SDRs (Special Drawing Rights). The suggestion back in 1988 that this currency is to be the Phoenix has an overtone of a crashed global economy being required to resurrect a new means for monetary transactions to take place. After all, the phoenix is a mythical creature that is supposed to have been reborn from the ashes of its predecessor.

Rumors of war will persist but the globalists have settled for the continual war on terror rather than actually having to go to war with a major nation possessing nuclear armaments, as this will defeat the purpose of bringing about a one-world government.  However, the threat of a world war will be imminent. In the main, these will be rumors fuelled by fear-mongering that suits those who need uncertainty in the public sphere to justify their own existence—news outlets, conspiracy theorists, end-time preachers, dooms-day alarmists and so on—so they can raise money or sell products. There will be a major war at the Second Coming, but this will not have any impact upon those who are caught up to meet the Lord as He returns.

The evidence points to Israel being the location where the Antichrist will take his place of rule. Jerusalem is the city built on seven hills that most people think is Rome. Writing at the turn of the twenty-first century Ernest L. Martin, Ph.D., makes the point:

But strange as it may seem, the City of Jerusalem as it existed in the time of Christ Jesus was also reckoned to be the "City of Seven Hills." This fact was well recognized in Jewish circles. In the Pirke de-Rabbi Eliezer, an 8th century midrashic narrative (section 10), the writer mentioned without commentary (showing that the understanding was well known and required no defense) that "Jerusalem is situated on seven hills" (recorded in The Book of Legends, edited by Bialik and Ravnitzky, p. 371, paragraph 111). And, so it was. Those "seven hills" are easy to identify.[xvii]

Islam will destabilize the world and Jews will migrate to Israel. Nationalism will fail because it restricts trade. A case will be made that goods will be cheaper if nations forgo national currencies and a global currency is used to buy goods worldwide. The use of robots, and the number of people being left unemployed, will create an environment that people will be prepared to accept a guaranteed wage from the government to pay for the essentials of life: food, water, shelter, clothes, etc.

Plato’s republic reflects the type of society that is envisaged as the ideal. Many point to the Hegelian philosophy of bringing about change using the thesis, antithesis, synthesis model. However, many centuries earlier, Plato’s Republic, written around 380 BC, pointed to what people think originated with the philosophy of Hegel, as well as the advantages of secret societies:

I will describe around me a picture and shadow of virtue to be the vestibule and exterior of my house; behind I will trail the subtle and crafty fox, as Archilochus, greatest of sages, recommends. But I hear someone exclaiming that the con-cealment of wickedness is often difficult; to which I answer, Nothing great is easy. Nevertheless, the argument indicates this, if we would be happy, to be the path along which we should proceed. With a view to concealment we will establish secret brotherhoods and political clubs. And there are professors of rhetoric who teach the art of persuading courts and assemblies; and so, partly by persuasion and partly by force, I shall make unlawful gains and not be punished.[xviii]

The idea of proceeding through propaganda and creating circumstances in which minor gains can be achieved by persuasion rather than force has been recognized as the most effective means of bringing about the New World Order.

Those seeking to establish the New World Order also have in mind that there will be three classes of people, as found in Plato’s Republic: the ruling class, the administrative/managerial class, and the working class (consider Seneca’s three-tiered structure of society, p. 350), which will provide entertainment and fill the roles that robots cannot. The world’s population will ideally be reduced to around five hundred million people, as was indicated by the Georgia Guidestones.[xix] The envisaged society will be one that is considered virtuous and designed to imitate that which was originally created by our Lord God. This is an important point to remember. The New World Order is not something envisaged as some hellhole of fear and intimidation but an ideal civilization.

As it stands, the conditioning to become an eager participant in the New World Order is well under way.  This is evidenced by the fact that people willing buy and sell using the UPC codes on products and think nothing of communicating, doing financial transactions and conducting their business via satellite through their iphones, while knowing that everything could be recorded (which it is). The reality is convenience just makes life easier by providing a more hassle-free existence. But what would have to be probably the strongest indicator of people having already been conditioned to accept the mark of the beast is their inordinate desire to be tattooed without any thought as to the aesthetics or the marring and scarring of their bodies. Having been conditioned to accept tattoos because this is socially acceptable, many people will see nothing wrong in accepting the mark of the beast and being chipped with radio-frequency identification (RFID), so they may participate in what they see as the benefits of being a member of the New World Order, not realizing that they are part of Mystery Babylon and are worshipping Lucifer.
